About Me
Since graduating nursing school in 2009, I have been a critical care nurse. Teaching evidence based critical care nursing is a great passion of mine. I have had the opportunity to work in multiple hospitals as a staff RN and also a travel RN. I have been a preceptor to many nurses, all having different learning styles. This has broadened my abilities and equipped me to adapt quickly to new environments. Teaching in a college setting, guiding students towards competent and compassionate nursing is my professional goal. I am currently enrolled in the University of Saint Mary's MSN program with my specialty track in education. Receiving my MSN will put me one step closer to a PhD.
Currently I am a teaching assistant for Central Texas College in the ADN program. I also work at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center in the ICU, PRN. I have been married for six years and have two child. I have two dogs that enjoy our one and half acre back yard. I enjoy planting flowers, reading and watching the Food Network channel. Feel free to contact me anytime. I would love to meet you and hear your thoughts, questions or concerns.
